Kedavilakku Scholarship 2025-26: Rs 1500 Annual For OBC Students

The Kerala Backwards Classes Development Department officially announced the Kedavilakku Scholarship scheme for OBC students. The students who belong to other backwards cast from classes 1 to 8 studied in government-aided schools will get the benefit of this scheme.

This scheme is only for Kerala OBC students who get Rs 1500 per year. The motive behind launching this scheme is to encourage students to get good marks in their exams. This is basically a scholarship in which students who belong to the lower income category but are good in studies will get this incentive amount.

Application forms for the scheme are already in progress, and the last date to apply for the scholarship is the 15th of July 2025. Students who belong to the OBC category and whose family income is not more than 2.5 lakh annually can apply for this scholarship scheme. • The applicant should belong to the OBC (other backwards classes) only.
• This scholarship scheme is only for students from classes 1st to 8th who study in government and edit schools.
• The family income of the applicant is not more than 2.5 Lakh annually.
• Selection of the students from classes 2 to 8 based on their marks or grades they obtained in the previous annual exam.
• Students should obtain at least 90% marks or grades in the previous annual exam.
• Students who belong to the OBC minority group do not need to apply for this scholarship. They have a separate scholarship named of Margadeepam.
• Student attendance should be at least 80% and their previous session.

The application process for this scholarship scheme is initiated through the E Grantz 3.0 web portal. You can follow the process step by step:-

• In this process, firstly you have to log in on E Grantz 3.0 with your username and password. If your child is not registered then, select the option of admin student.
• In case any child is on the school list and the teacher want to promote him then he can choose promote student option. You can find the child name in the promote list from E Grantz 3.0 portal.
• Validate all the details with the current admission number and then proceed with your registration process. Enter the student’s Aadhar number and then click on the gate student details.
• Now now the student details will be fetched on your screen. In case you want to edit details and you can do it from the edit details option.
• In the edit option, you can change the current studying class, annual income, and account number.
• There is another option for updating the mark/ attendance.
